EBM Committee & Subcommittees

The EBM Committee of the NY/ACP is composed of representatives of New York's teaching hospitals and medical schools, who have been meeting since 1994 to develop an infrastructure to support evidence-based medicine teaching and implementation. The membership includes internists, emergency medicine physicians, academic health center librarians and The New York Academy of Medicine. This committee has sponsored two workshops at The New York Academy of Medicine on teaching EBM, this web page, a listserve, and has successfully competed for an NIH/NLM grant to develop an EBM Resource Center.
